January 2026 

Over the course of three challenging weeks, pupils took part in a hockey event organised by SASP in partnership with Yeovil College. Despite facing some truly terrible weather conditions, the children showed fantastic resilience, determination and sportsmanship throughout, never letting the rain dampen their enthusiasm.

Both teams represented their schools brilliantly, supporting one another and demonstrating real commitment on and off the pitch. The Year 4/5 team performed exceptionally well, finishing in an impressive 2nd place, while the Year 6 team battled hard against strong opposition to secure a 4th place finish.

It was a great experience for all involved and a real credit to the players, staff and organisers who ensured the event was a success despite the conditions.

Hockey Inter-House - year 6 have had their first house sports event of the year with Hockey. With Collingwood coming out on top of the tournament. Well done Collingwood. 

 Football - Year 3/4 had their first tournament of the year with some brilliant results.

"We went to Westfield to take part in a dance festival where we learnt a rock and roll routine. It was great fun. It kept us on our toes as there were some tricky lifts and it was quick!" Leo K - Year 6
